Pasta is is a staple food of traditional Italian cuisine. Typically pasta is made from an unleavened dough of a durum wheat flour mixed with water And formed into various sheets or shapes. Whole wheat pastas contain considerably amounts of minerals such as magnesium, calcium, zinc, potassium and manganese. It contains carbohydrates, and also contain sodium, and has no cholesterol.
The amount of protein in pasta depends on the type of flour is used by manufacture. Whole wheat pastas are good for vegetarians than pasta which is made from maida.
Pasta. : 3 cups
Onions. : 1/4 cup
Green chillies. : 4
Garlic. : 3 cloves
Pasta Purée. : 1 1/2 cup
Salt. : to taste
Red c. Powder: 1 1/2 tsp
Coriander. P. : 1 tsp
Cumin . P. : 1 tsp
Garam masala: 1 1/2 tsp
Black Salt. : 1/2 tsp ( optional )
Oil. : 2 tbsp
PASTA SAUCE :
i like to use RAGU’s chunky pasta sauce. Because it has a unique flavor .
Boil water with 1 tbsp of oil ( to avoid stickiness ). Add pasta and cook till it becomes soft. When it’s done quickly wash pasta with cold water.
Chop onions and Green chillies and set aside. Heat a wok and add oil, onions, green chillies, garlic or add ginger garlic paste. Fry for a minute, then add pasta purée, red chili powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala powder, Cumin powder.
When the sauce starts to boil, add pasta, mix we’ll and keep aside for 10 min before serving.
- I added only 3 cloves of Garlic, because the pasta sauce already contains some amount of garlic.
- Do not overcook the sauce, it may change the taste and flavor in it.
- I love onion, tomato and garlic flavor. u can prefer any flavor according to your taste.
